Iliana has been working in the veterinary field in 2021 and joined the team at Woodbine Animal Clinic in 2022. Iliana also obtained her credentials as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2023. Her passion for veterinary medicine was inspired by her family’s love for animals since she was a young child. She enjoys the welcoming, home-like atmosphere at Woodbine and has professional interests in ALL areas of veterinary medicine, including exotics. Iliana has been trained in fear free methods and is a current member of the FVTA.

One of Iliana’s favorite parts of her job is helping anxious pets feel more comfortable and relaxed during their visits. She encourages pet owners to research breeds carefully and speak with the clinic about what to expect before bringing a new pet home. She also reminds clients to always contact the clinic before giving over-the-counter medications to their pets.

Outside of work, Iliana enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her small farm. She has a wide variety of pets, including cats, dogs, chinchillas, budgies, fish, and chickens. She is also fluent in Spanish.
