Skylah joined the team at Woodbine Animal Clinic in 2023 as Veterinary Assistant and now holds her Certified Veterinary Assistant credentials. Veterinary medicine has always been a part of her life, as she grew up in the field. She began gaining professional experience at age 16 while volunteering at clinics while completing the Veterinary Medicine Academy though her high school. She began her first veterinary job here at Woodbine.

Skylah’s passion for animal care comes naturally from being raised around veterinary medicine and animals throughout her life. She enjoys being part of a profession where she can continue learning while helping care for pets and supporting their families.

Outside of work, Skylah enjoys “Jeeping” and “Cosplaying” for herself and her sidekick, canine brother Mr. Noodles. She also is both human big sister (or mom) to kitties Lava, Blueberry, Riblet, Udon and Soba, and pups Meatpie and Mousse. And you can’t forget the 8 chicks Biggie, Skinny, Sup, Butter, Veloci, Banshee, Chexy and Merlin and their ornery Roo, Skyttio.
